Should you choose to become an Affiliate and promote this opportunity to others (not required for at-cost pricing), you want to have full control over which side you place your sign-ups. As your referrals trickle in, you will notice they all behave differently. Some will promote. Some won't. Some will purchase metals consistently. Some won't spend a dime. The outcome of this, is huge variances in the points you earn from each side of the genealogy.
That said, having the "holding tank" box checked gives you a 24-hour window to manually place your referrals as they come in. And don't forget to click the 'Update Settings' button after you've enabled the holding tank.
Another thing to consider here is having each side of your genealogy balanced. So the default settings - 'Outside Bottom Left' | 'Outside Bottom Right' - need to be adjusted from time to time to keep it that way. If you forget to manually place someone within the 24-hour window, they will automatically be placed on the left or right according to the default setting.
All this is important, because having balanced sides enables you to reach "cycle" (get paid) quicker.
To get there, click your initials at the top right of the screen. In the dropdown click 'Profile'.
Once inside, there are THREE (3) sections you need to fill in and/or update.
1 - ACCOUNT INFORMATION
2 - DEFAULT SHIPPING ADDRESS
3 - DIRECT DEPOSIT INFORMATION
Be sure to check all necessary boxes and hit the 'Update' button on
This is an easy step that you've more than likely completed hundreds of times in your life.
But some people don't scroll the whole page, and they end up missing this stuff.
DON'T BE THAT GUY OR GAL!
Here are the steps...visually:
Once back on the main Dashboard page, you'll need to add funds to your account AND buy a membership - adding funds to your account DOES NOT automatically place you into a membership. YOU MUST CHOOSE ONE!
1 - METALS PLUS
2 - METALS
3 - AFFILIATE ONLY
So, once the funds you add are shown in your dashboard you'll be able to buy your membership. Only after buying a membership will you be able to buy & sell metals, access the DAP Vault, and/or "actively" participate in the affiliate program to receive commissions on your referrals.
Also, at the time of this writing, you are only allowed to DOWN-grade your membership level. So choose wisely! I recommend enrolling at the highest level (Metals Plus) to avoid any regret later.
So step 1 is to click 'Add Funds' - then choose your payment type and enter all your payment information (I'm not answering any questions about Dogecoin and Litecoin - if you know how to transact using cryptocurrency, then feel free).
Step 2 is to click 'Buy Membership' - and choose whichever level you'd like.
Here's what all that looks like:
Once you close the membership purchase screen, you will notice a slight change in your dashboard - you should now be seeing 6 different boxes:
1 - MEMBERSHIP STATUS - which should now read "Active"
2 - AFFILIATE INFORMATION - which should read "Unranked"
3 - ACCOUNT STATUS - which should read "Placed" (
4 - ACCOUNT BALANCE - which should show any "leftover" funds
5 - PLACEMENT SETTINGS - which we covered earlier
6 - COIN OF THE MONTH - which should read "Inactive"
Here's what that looks like:
So we've pretty much done it all. But as you can see in the screenshot above, there are 2 things we haven't done yet.
First, when you want to withdraw commissions, or any other funds you've added, you can just hit the "Withdraw Balance" button. Now, at the time of this writing I understand that you can only withdraw the whole amount. There is no option for "partial withdrawals". If this changes then you will see the updates in the dashboard. You also need to
Second, we need to sign-up for the Coin of the Month Get-A-Head Program.
So, if you buy a coin every month in the Get-A-Head program, then you will always qualify as an Affiliate each cycle.
Here's what all that looks like:
Once you have enrolled
I will come back and edit this page periodically, as more updates are announced - and you should do the same if you decide to refer people as an At Cost Metals affiliate.
THIS IS IMPORTANT!
Be sure to consistently check the Bonus section of our 'Getting Started' video series. In that bonus section I will be sharing some insider secrets we're using to take this opportunity to the next level. We'll be "hacking the system" - from setting up our genealogy...to promoting this offer...and even down to some credit card hacks. So stay tuned!
